How
do I choose an image to turn into "Your Art"?
Above all your image should be clear and in focus.
We will endeavour to clean up and adjust your image to
get the best results, however to obtain maximum results
to reproduce your photo on canvas we need a high quality
image to begin with.
If you're sending in a digital image the resolution should
be around 300 dpi.
If you're looking to create a contemporary portrait style
then an ideal image is one that takes up most of the picture.
Where possible we can crop your image to achieve this.
Please see the illustrations to the right of this page
for visual examples. If you're unsure whether we can work
with your image, then please send it in and we will let
you know if it's possible to print onto canvas.
When sending your photos to us, please remember
the rule of thumb, Quality photos equals Quality results!

When I have chosen my image,
what file format should it be in?
We can accept most forms of media to put your
photo on canvas. Please send us either JPEG files or PSD
files. Files should not be compressed before sending.
All images should be provided at the highest resolution
possible.

My
image file is not a JPEG or PSD file and I don't know
how to convert it. What should I do?
If your image is in an alternative format then please
contact
us and we will let you know if we can work with it.

How
do I send my image to seeingtheBigpicture?
Images can be sent via post or email. Please send us your
image as soon as you've submitted your order form.

My Image is printed and I don't
have a digital copy?
We can accept hard copies of your photo by post. These
can then be scanned by seeingtheBigpicture. Your original
image will be returned with your finished order.
N.B. We can only scan images up to the size of A4.
